Remember back in the days, when your Nana, Gramms etc. used to patch the holes in your ripped jeans??? Well, we might not need Gramm's assistance to fix our gaps & gashed garments today but this vintage method of mending is beginning to reappear in many designer's collections and is steadily being embraced by fashion's elite. By the same token, patchwork requires a steady hand ( or sewing machine for that matter) and a keen eye for assembly. The result- the mixing & matching fabrics in same hues & tones come together to form strikingly unitified pieces. Why not create your own polychromatic look by mixing & stitching various textural fabrics and rearrange the pieces to help animate, enhance & diversify a dull pieces in your wardrobe.
