R-R-R-R-RAT TAILS: Keeps or CUT IT

So I’m sure you’ve heard? No? Well just in case you didn’t, the word on the street is the RAT TAIL is coming back ( no, no, not the real life animal ones, nor do I condone animal cruelty). I know, I know, your thinking of strictly hilly sorts rocking this hair do riding tractors in the outback and what not but let’s forecast a little. The mullet hairstyle is already making a swift coming back and so is the ever popular braid. Now imagine the two coming together: starting off with the current mullet trend then slightly slimming down to a tamer variation: the squirrel tail; shave off the sides to reveal a single lock of hair then VIOLA: THE RAT TAIL, definitely revolutionary if I do say so myself. If you’re the brave sort, shaving the surrounding area of the braid would make your tail more obvious but if you’re more of the quiet sort, pinning up surrounding areas would give you the same effect. Try spicing up your look with some colourful threads, hair weave, bold beads and whimsical feathers. Ahh, yes. the tail shall leave its TRAIL wherever you shall go ( not literally of course, GUYS?! LOL[:ppp]!!! ).

Manish Arora, a designer native of India has become known for his distinct use of primitive patterns, kitsch motifs and electric compositions of mixing and matching fabrics. Similarly, Arora began paving his way into the fashion realm after graduating from the National Institute of Fashion Technology in New Delhi in 1995. He then went on to launch his self-titled label " Manish Arora" in 1997 in India during India's first ever fashion week. Since then has captured the delights of fashion royalty such as Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj being acknowledged for his contributions by often being referred to as the " John Galliano of India ". His creations are majestic,  often marvelling onlookers and even the most cynical of critics to what this up and coming designer will conjure up next.

I think Jordan Spark's begged the question best: "How does it feel to breathe with no air"???!!! well, it feels sorta like death (actually). Thus, oxygen masks plays on the clever facade that you are without oxygen (and or have a difficult time breathing). For those on the brisk side with mighty lungs full of luscious air, wearing a mask is edgy way to promote activism as well as it says a bold state on the state of our environment and the bitter swirling state of the media's infiltration and social pollution. Still not convinced, consider the oxygen mask as more of a friendly reminder of what you should be doing, that is: if you must breathe, you might as well look exceptional good doing it, exaggerating all those inhales... kinda makes you think twice about not wearing a mask. GOSH. I've been breathing the normal way all these years, pathetic...time to vamp it up with the newest pro-life essential, don't worry, BREATHE HAPPY. [;)))]!!!

C-STRING Seamless UNDERWEAR

Image taken from: http://i01.i.aliimg.com/photo/v0/284537103/lovehoney_c_string.jpg

The C-string is an seamless innovative substitute to your fav panties. This strapless contraption molded in the shape of the letter "C" can be worn under or even over clothing?!. Coming in a wide variety of colours and styles, there's hopefully more than one size criteria ( you know, for us, bootylicious ladies out there) ha. Of course, there's a certain level of security that comes with wearing straps so I can only predict high levels of burning wedgies and wooha escapism in your future my friend ( unless your into that sorta thing ). So the real question at bay is will the C-string ever replace the G-string???!!! One thing is for certain the C-string "makes your old THONG look like GRANNY PANTIES" (unless your into that sorta thing) LOL.

CHEEKY BUM BARING CUT OUT's

Is it sad that these were the only pics I could find? Quite possibly, LOL, but I just need to throw another trend up in the air. Bum baring cut out's are coming, sooner than you may think. Ideal for warmer summer, this cheeky approach to exposing the ass-ets can be done in an ultra classy manner by the use of dressier darker wash jean, fitted pants or shorts and possibly more coverage to the rear and dangling fringle or heavy chains. If those spandex hot pants from the 90's weren't doing it for you, this most certainly will. Cha-cha-cha-cha-cha CHECK IT OUT!!!

Eye BOTTLING TEARY- EYED JEWELLERY

Image taken: http://eyemakeart.files.wordpress.com/2009/07/eric-klarenbeek-eye-jewellery-project.jpg

Image taken from: http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2008/10/03/article-1067277-02DF614F00000578-33_468x286.jpg

The tear jewellery plays on the idea of the taboo trend of facial piercings, specifically the anti-brow or teardrop piercing. Similarly, the bizarre jewellery pieces come in "a range features a number of adornments which hang on translucent wire away from the contact lenses... the users can then attach a range of accessories, such as crystals and flowers, to the new prescription or dummy lenses and wear them throughout the day". The Dutch designer Eric Klarenbeek proclaims "people who have worn my eye jewellery are amazed at its comfort, you can't feel the wire dangling, it doesn't affect your sight and the lens moves along gently with your eyeball". Mmm, I dunno but there’s just something nerve racking about hanging ishhh from my eyeballs, just imagine getting caught on something, GAHHH.*flinches*....please wear with extreme caution. ELF EARS: Talk NERDY to ME BABY

Image taken from:http://whatifoundtoday.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/05/elf-ears1.jpg

Image taken from:http://www.aradani.com/ebay2007/

Stemming from the oh-so popular emergence of the ear wraps, this body modification of "elf" ears goes to the extreme. It can be done through the aid of cosmetic manipulation that requires many cuts of folded skin & enhancing the ear cartilage. Similarly, it is surprising delicate procedure however it comes with irreversible results taking quite some time to heal; there's also the question of the possibly of leaving the ears prone to infections. An interesting quote by Hearst Seattle Media warrants that: " if you really want to look like you work at Santa’s workshop or live in Middle Earth, you can do it. After all, this is 2011. Though, I should remind you, this is the real world, not some fantasy land". Another interesting claim is  by Dr. Lajos Nagy who claims that pointed ears aren’t just for cosmetic reasons but will also help your hearing. Moving with this further, some call it utterly disturbing, that it's utterly grotesque, goes beyond the framework of nerdy, others say its a childish act, but hey, there's no doubt that society has evolved and so has its’ fascination with fantasy worlds beyond our own advocated through the film industry and paper back media. Hmmm, I wonder if it’s will give you magic powers too…hey, don’t judge me, or it, or whatever you wanna call them..."OMG, did I just see them WIGGLE"...LOL[;ppp]!

Marchesa is an elegant avant-garde women's wear line named after 20th century socialite, heiress and muse: Marchesa Luisa Casati (1881-1957). The brilliant equipped visionaries for Marchesa label were none other than British born inspiring designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig who originally crossed paths at Chelsea College of Art and Design in London. Equally, Georgina was a graduate of the Wimbledon School of Art & began her career as a costume designer, well Keren, on the other hand, graduated from Brighton Art College in 2000 and where she primarily focused on print and embroidery design. With the sophisticated workmanship of Georgina’s draping and design paired with Keren’s detailed textile creations, they decided to join forces in 2004 resulting in the establishment of Marchesa. As companion, their memorizing craftsmanship, immaculate ultra feminine illustrations have made them one of the most sawed after, go-to line for the celebrity elite for red carpet season. The Marchesa label has recently ventured into new territories expanding it's line by recently launching a handbag line, an elaborate collection of sovereign wedding dresses and even partnered with Lenox to launch a dinnerware collection. Yet, through all of their success, Chapman & Craig have been able to hold true to the Marchesa name by Luisa’s famous lifestyle quote, that is: “I want to be a living work of art” ; a mad & wild un-contemporary being with a bold and undying imagination.
